3:00 pm - 6:00 pm Pacific

Wednesday, September 6, 2023

This three-year series of educational workshops provide psychiatric educators the additional skills needed to be effective leaders in health professional education in psychiatry.

Previous topics have included: educational methods, negotiations, education theory, leading change, learner assessment, leading through crisis, educational scholarship, and curriculum design.

This year’s meeting will be the twenty-first installment of the Master Educator program, featuring sessions on (1) Program Evaluation and (2) Learning Theories.

For those who have never attended, this is your opportunity to enroll in a “mini-masters” in education and develop your core knowledge and skills in essential subject areas for educators. The series is split into two 3-hour sessions. Anyone who is interested is welcome to pre-register for this program, even if you have not come to the sessions in previous years.

People signing up for the Master Educator courses are expected to attend both of the Master Educator sessions.  Verification of attendance will be required for credit toward the course certificate.
