Institutional Partner Application

The AAP Institutional Partner Program is designed for university-based and community-based training programs. This program offers psychiatry programs a renewed opportunity for their faculty to explore professional and curriculum development, career development, mentorship, and networking among academic psychiatrists. Faculty affiliated with an AAP Institutional Partner are encouraged to join AAP as an Institutional Partner Member, offering deep discounts for dues, registration, and additional programming.

Follow these steps to become an AAP Institutional Partner and share with your eligible faculty members. The name provided on the application will be your Partner Program Contact and the key person to receive all information regarding the AAP Institutional Partner Program.

Step 1: Partner Program Contact to complete Partner Application and $500 payment.

Step 2: Partner Program Contact to forward the Institutional Partner Member application link and instructions to all eligible faculty via email after the application is processed by AAP.

Step 3: Eligible faculty may use the Institutional Partner Member application link to create a new profile and pay 2025 Institutional Partner Member Dues ($350).

Step 4: AAP staff will review the application(s) for Institutional Partner Member(s) against the current database to update their record(s) and membership types as needed.

NOTE: If a faculty member is already an AAP institutional or individual member and has paid their 2025 dues, they will receive a refund for their initial payment once the Institutional Partner Member application and dues payment have been processed.

Trainees are not eligible for this membership type, however, AAP does offer a reduced-rate trainee membership for medical students, residents, and fellows who have an interest in academic psychiatry.
