Meeting Theme: Academic Psychiatry 2.0: Reconnect, Redesign, Relaunch
Everyone is eager to return to "normal" after the distance and isolation of the pandemic. But the old normal included academic disparities, institutional racism, systemic inequality, environmental threats, and other challenges. In addition, some of the lessons we learned about teaching and collaborating at a distance will have value moving forward. Relaunching a new world of academic psychiatry will require innovative approaches in connecting with communities, collaborating with colleagues, and educating tomorrow's psychiatrists.
Workshops are 90 minutes in length.
COVID-19 Update
Due to the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the importance of the health and wellbeing of the AAP attendees, AAP may need to alter the format of the meeting. To ensure the optimal programming please indicate whether your workshop would translate from a live, in-person presentation to either a hybrid (in-person and online audiences) and/or online audience only. Be sure to select all that apply.
