Unity Center for Behavioral Health, a dedicated psychiatric emergency department and inpatient hospital, is seeking board-certified or board-eligible psychiatrists to join its Psychiatric Emergency Services (PES) team in Portland, Oregon.

This is an incredible opportunity to work as part of a multidisciplinary team in a state-of-the-art facility using a unique care model to care for individuals with acute psychiatric needs. This position includes a faculty appointment at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). Oregon’s only academic health center.

We are seeking a full-time psychiatrist to provide mental health evaluation, stabilization, and treatment in an academic ED setting.  The position is highly collaborative in nature, with an emphasis on trauma-informed, compassionate patient care.  In addition to clinical work, physicians have opportunities for educational leadership, quality improvement, and scholarly research. Academic appointment starts at the level of Assistant Professor and may be higher based on experience.
