Are you passionate about developing the next generation of physician leaders in integrated care? The Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) invites applications for a Program Director or Associate Program Director to lead our unique Internal Medicine-Psychiatry Combined Residency Program, one of only 14 in the nation.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape a growing program with a total of 10 residents (2 per class year), supported by a collaborative academic community and a commitment to excellence in education, clinical care, and innovation.

• Leadership Impact: Play a key role in developing curriculum, mentoring residents, and advancing integrated medical-psychiatric education.
• Integrated Clinical Practice: Choose from diverse clinical opportunities—hospitalist on a med/psych inpatient unit, integrated primary care settings, or collaborative care consultation.
• Dual Departmental Affiliation: For qualified candidates, this position offers a joint faculty appointment in both Psychiatry and Internal Medicine.

What You’ll Do:

• Direct all aspects of program development, administration, and ACGME compliance.
• Mentor and support residents in their dual training journey.
• Lead resident recruitment and match processes.
• Foster interdisciplinary learning and innovation in medical education.
• Contribute to scholarly activity and continuous program improvement.

What We’re Looking For:

• MD or DO with board certification in both Internal Medicine and Psychiatry. (We are open to candidates certified in one specialty, with a complementary Associate Program Director.)
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Wisconsin.
• Experience in medical education and ACGME-accredited residency programs.
• A commitment to excellence in teaching, collaboration, and innovation in integrated care.
