Dartmouth Health Psychiatrist Openings in New Hampshire!

3/8/2024

Dartmouth Health, a national leader in healthcare delivery innovation, is seeking faculty to join our growing Department of Psychiatry. The Department is a major provider of psychiatric care in Northern New England and provides research-supported services to individuals and their families across the region. As a component of the Geisel School of Medicine, the Department is teaching the next generation of clinicians through a robust array of training programs in psychiatry and psychology, as well as fellowship programs in multiple psych-subspecialty areas. In addition, the Department is the site of cutting-edge translational research, including externally funded research grants and contracts – supported through federal, state, foundation, and industry sources.

We are currently seeking innovative clinicians in the following roles:

Dartmouth Health offers an inclusive and collegial environment and referrals, competitive compensation and benefits packages, dedicated CME time and funds, an unmatched quality of life in a beautiful, rural setting offering excellent schools and lively arts, access to major cities, and proximity to mountains, lakes, and hiking trails as well as no sales or NH State income tax!

The Dartmouth Health system stretches over New Hampshire and Vermont and offers the quintessential New England experience. With no income or sales tax, this beautiful area combines history, industry, and business and has been ranked consistently as one of the best places in the US to live and work. Anchored by the academic Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH, the system includes the NCI-designated Dartmouth Cancer Center, Dartmouth Health Children’s, 4 member hospitals, and 30 Dartmouth Health ambulatory clinics across the region.

New Hampshire and Vermont have always ranked highly when it comes to measuring quality of life. In fact, the state of New Hampshire’s “Life Index,” a compilation of independent national studies on quality of life among the 50 states, rates New Hampshire as #1 and Vermont as #3. These independent evaluations confirm what our colleagues at Dartmouth Health already know: that New Hampshire and Vermont are wonderful places to live, work, and do business. This claim is supported by our having some of the most advanced educational institutions, the best health care options, and diverse cultural and recreational offerings to be found anywhere in the country. We live here because we want to, and, as New Hampshire’s largest employer, all of us at Dartmouth Health will always be “woven into the fabric of our communities.”
